February Closed Transactions

The pace for February remained constant with our brokerage closing 18 transactions equating to more than 136,000 square feet.

Joe Menninger represented the buyer in our largest transaction of the month. His client, an investor, purchased an industrial warehouse at 2580 Harrison Road with tenant, Synagro, in place.

Overall, roughly 30% of the month’s transactions were industrial.

The Office Brokerage Group of Matt Gregory, Andy Dutcher and Philip Bird represented Healthcare Realty Trust in adding a new tenant, Hypertension Nephrology Consultants, Inc., to the medical office building at 500 E. Main Street. The 10-year lease for 3,883 SF was the largest office transaction of the month by volume.

The makeup of our brokerage’s transactions shifted slightly this month, with retail transactions accounting for more than one-third of our total transactions.

Peter Merkle represented local retailers Tigertree and Cub Shrub in signing a new lease at 3301 N. High Street which will bring both businesses under one roof and allow for expanded product offerings and experiences.

The Office Brokerage Group also represented Volunteers of America in the purchase of a 5,015-square-foot building at 1939 Galbraith Road in Cincinnati in partnership with NAI Bergman, our Cincinnati affiliate. In all, the Office Brokerage Group closed half of all the month’s transactions.

One of our newest agents, Chad Boggs, represented Bear’s Bagels in signing a lease for their first brick-and-mortar location at 4142-4144 Main Street in Hilliard.

Boggs closed nearly a quarter of the month’s total transactions, including the second largest industrial transaction of the month  – the sale of a warehouse/distribution facility at 23546 U.S. Route 224 in Alvada, Ohio in partnership with NAI Harmon.
